hmmm... it's been awhile... You want the trunk lights to come on when your brake lights come on, so follow the wire from the 2 big red tail lights and terminate the T-box lights in the same connector.

The box rattles some but I'm not aware of it while in the drivers seat, only when it's running and on the center stand. The Givi product is probably better built but I'm satisfied with this one. It stays dry, the lock works well, it's a good size, and has proven to be durable. I put 8,000 miles on this scooter in '09. I had an LED burn out recently, called the factory and they sent me a complete new LED panel, no charge.

Close to buying.

I wouldn't let the sun go down on that deal. Installing a trunk on a sport
may be easier than on a standard model since no drilling is required. See
photos section.

Very good price.
I live in Orange Tx and spent $2600 for a 2004 reflex in May of
2009. It was very low mileage but mileage below 10000 miles does not matter to me. The price on the scooter has dropped a bit since then but I have enjoyed the scooter for eight months and it is worth $100 a month to ride the scooter.
I say buy it now and ride.

Okay I have lurked on here for quite a few months trying to make up my mind about buying a reflex. I recently sold my Ruckus and actively looking for a decent Reflex.
I ran across an 07 Reflex Sport NSS 250 with 5000 miles. He was asking $2950.00 but said he would take $2750.00..
My question to all you knowledgeable people is:

Is that a decent price?

Any other info you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Indiana Dave

Battery Question

About how many years can I expect my battery to last? I bought an 04 about a year and a half ago. It had only 280 miles on it when I bought it. It now has over 3,000 miles on it.

My husband says not to worry about it until it will no longer start up. But I will use the scoot for work as soon as the temps warm up a bit. Don't want to get stuck in the morning or after work.

You are pushing it for age; mine made it 5 years. The safe thing to do is pull the battery and take it to a auto parts store and have it tested, or go ahead and drop a few dollars for a new one and a little piece of mind.

JM2, you are absolutely correct. The Reflex is NOT made to do what we are asking it to do. However, we are fulltime RVers. We carry our Reflex on a rack mounted on the back of our 5th wheel trailer. Some days we travel 130 miles on pavement for some site-seeing, other days Scoot will bring us down a 20 mile stretch of dirt road to our hiking trailhead. The next day we'll spot her as the pick-up vehicle for a kayaking trip along a river bank. Sure, an off-road bike would be nice some of the time, but a majority of miles are on smooth pavement.
Bruce, I'll pick up a clutch housing for a Rukus soon. Do you know if it uses the same clutch pads as a Reflex.?
