www.dgy.com is cheaper than bikebandit by a significant amount, and their
shipping is also less, however I cannot speak for what it would be to ship
to Canada.

I only use genuine honda belts, they last 10,000+ miles. Be wary of
aftermarket belts especially if you highway ride, you may find yourself in a
tenuous situation with sudden loss of power due to a cheap belt breaking
thousands of miles before expected!

I also go to DGY. I only use Honda belts. Just removed one at 12K miles/19K kilometers that looks terrific and will be a perfect spare.

With tools, parts on hand, and after OJT two or three times, it takes about an hour including a roller and rear gear oil change.

I priced several online companies, and dgy.com beat out all of them for
shipping/cost of original item. They all seemed to have the same backend on
their web interfaces as far as choosing the year, bike model, and part(s).

"With tools, parts on hand, and after OJT two or three times, it takes about an hour including a roller and rear gear oil change."

You change the CVT rollers every 12,000 miles?

I do, they're like an additional 11 bucks or less at DGY. Why not, I'm
there, it's not expensive and keeps the drivetrain new. If you buy your
belt at DGY you save that much over the other sites just on the belt price!

I encourage you to have a look at the info on the BELT in the FILES section - it is very helpful.

Interesting. I am one of the owners of a 25 year old scoot I have a 1984 Honda Aero 125. Two summers agos wait for a petcock was not too much fun (it was backordered) but it did finally come in from Honda! Yay!!! Little worried about the bystarter dying - I bought a possible bystarter on Ebay but no idea if it will actually work when the time comes.

But the wait for parts made me want two scoots and hence enter the Flex. I really love that scoot and it fits my riding to a T because I have no desire to ride on the interestate. It manages 60mph highways just fine so I can take it out of town - just not on the interstate.

I ride mine several hundred miles a week, on 60mph posted country highways.
Only time I've been on an interstate with it, as on I-95 during
biketoberfest to hop from international drive to another thoroughfare in
Daytona, which I'll do this time too, but the traffic is slowed due to the
crowds.

I will reach 50,000 miles within 4 months at the rate I am going. So far no
signs of leaks, doesn't use oil, doesn't run any hotter than anyone elses
does.

Very well made scoot and I choose to ride it daily rather than my
silverwing. My coldest ride with it was 11.8 degrees back a few weeks when
Florida went into a deep freeze!!
