Ed, what is the part number for the BR ramp plate and the six rollers? I want to investigate the cost of this option.

The only diference in part #'s for the drive face is the roller weights and
the movable variator face (the rear part the ramp plate fits up to)

Every other part is identical. So, if you are going to put this kit on your
relflex I would recommend the weights and the movable (rear) variator face,
everything else is identical in part numbers, I just cross referenced it. I
don't know what the rear face differences are. I would have thought the
ramp plate would have been different (not shutting down half the weights
like the reflex does) shrug. Anyway, there it is.

It's an interesting proposition, I may try it, as I have to buy variator
faces anyway at some point, mine are wearing out, lol. At 20.00 I can buy
both the ruckus back face and a reflex back face, and the reflex front face
and try the ruckus setup if I don't like it I'll put the reflex weights back
in with the new reflex back face. At that price it's maybe worth
experimenting with!

My search shows that the movable drive face is the same as the Reflex.

> don't know what the rear face differences are.

None I believe. I found the same part number for them.

> I would have thought the ramp plate would have been different (not shutting down half the weights like the reflex does)

The ramp plate is the same between the two scooters.

The two different angled ramp types, total of six, are built in to the movable drive face, not the ramp plate.

> At 20.00 I can buy both the ruckus back face and a reflex back face, and the reflex front face

Where can you get them at $20 a piece? Best I found was $44.99 for the movable drive face.

I found two part numbers for the rear (movable) face. I don't know if that
necessarily means a difference or not, but they are two diff part #'s.

I shop at www.dgy.com.

I also notice the sleeve the back plate slides on is also a different part
#, and the drive belt itself is a different part # (by one letter)

Since the ramp late is identical and the difference is the rear movable face
(diff part #'s) that's where the difference is then.

Yeah, I see what you mean. I wonder too. Wonder if they have a return policy? Be nice to buy one and compare.

Your joint has some good prices! I now know where I am going to buy my plastic.

I don't know. I'm curious as to whether the ruckus stops 1/2 the weights
like the relfex does. I'm thinking no, as there are 6 identical weights.
This would be very interesting to experience on the reflex.

When I said 20.00 I meant the extra it would cost me to buy the ruckus
movable face. My variator faces are worn, I'm over 47k now my variator
faces are worn. I do all my riding on highways, over 100 a day. So, I have
to buy a set of faces anyway eventually, probably after this next belt I'm
about to put on, so I'll buy new faces when I get close to 60,000.

I just thought I may invest the 20 or so for the extra movable face and the
6 some odd bucks for that weight set and try it one time, lol.

I replaced Reflex Face movable drive Ref#5 part # 22130-KPB-000
with a Big Rukus Face B Ref#5 Part # 22130-KFG-640.
The BR face cost $32.00 at DGY
The roller ramps are in the movable face.
I am unable to measure the ramp angles but can see that the
black rollers can not travel up as far as the blue rollers.
I have a few pictures of this and will post under movable drive face.

I did time 0-60 mph  before and after and came up with 16.25 sec. for both set ups.

Put some muscle into it to set it straight - hold it there - re-tighten (helpful to use 2 people).

120 and Counting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For the purposes of displaying all of our wonderful bikes, I think we should
plan a parking layout at the Hollander. When we gather in the Hollander
Motel parking lot for the Friday Barbeque, be sure and park your bike around
the perimeter of the lot. Face your bike inward toward the center of the lot
When the perimeter is full we can start doing a second row within the
perimeter. Allow for vehicles to egress where needed. In other words, don't
block entrances and exits. I am suggesting this so that when we have over
100 bikes all neatly parked in the lot, they will be on display for all to
see. This will make for some extreme "Tire Kicking" (looking at and lying
about our bikes). It should also make an incredible sight to see.

I've seen the adjustable spanner wrenches...  I looked at Sears and Harbor Freight...  Could not find...   Do you know of any place that sells a nice one...  I don't want to use vise grips or monkey pliers...  Prob a 5.00  item...

It's for making the shock adjustment. It hooks into the holes around the bottom of the shock and you just turn it to the desired setting.

If you don't have the spanner wrench you can use vice grips. Just be sure to wrap the metal part of the shock with some old inner tube so you don't scratch the area when doing the adjustment.

When I bought my 2006 reflex about two weeks ago the shocks were adjusted to the 3 setting. After riding it for a while I noticed that the ride was harsh and bottoming out for the Ohio roads I was riding on. I weigh about 195lbs. and decided to move the setting up to 5. I took a ride and noticed that the ride quality was much improved. I think I will move it up one more notch to 6 and compare the two settings. I think the standard factory setting is designed for women and light weight men probably under 140lbs. I know when my wife starts riding with me 2 up, I will probably move the setting up to 7 or to the Higher setting on the shocks, as our combined weights will be about 340lbs. I would like to know if other reflex riders noticed this, and what their weight and shocks are set at? Thanks, Jim

It was also on the #3 setting and I set up to #5 and it made all the difference in the world. I weigh 210 and think I will set up to #6. When I was messing with it I went beyond the #6 setting and it all of a sudden fell to the bottom, I don't believe it has a #7. Just my 2 cents worth.

Not too stunned to find that the speedo is probably optimistic....never had a bike that wasn't. Still, for what it can do, I'm really impressed! I rode at WOT for 20 miles......and still it returned great mileage. I also got to do the initial fill with "real" gas. It does NOT seem to like the ethanol blend I can get locally. Dropped in a K&N tonight....I'll re-do the trip to see what that does....not that I really care......It is what it is, and I like it!
