Joe,

My aren't we a bit testy ? This happens to be my first post to you so if you think this is BS...so be it. I was merely stating math facts. Even with your worldly travels, the numbers still don't add up. I guess it's the old adage, "First liar don't stand a chance". Best & safe wishes on your travels.

Bob

Well, I'm not going to entertain your BS much more than this.

On a daily basis I do a commute of 140 miles. On weekends I do a flea
market, which is over 100 both ways, and I also dive and do other
recreational activities.

I also went to Mardi Gras which is in Louisiana (in case your too retarted
to know)

I also went to Octoberfest, Bike Week, and Bike Week Louisiana (which is
also in New Orleans)

I also have friends in Tallahassee which I have been up to see several
times, which is 150 miles each way.

To put it bluntly, go f*** yourself.

Joe

Joe, I took the time to read a buncha your previous posts. They are interesting and useful. In other words I appreciate your past contributions.

Let's bury the hatchet and get back to scooters, can we? I didn't INTEND to insult you. This topic has been hashed over in the past and somehow we have such extraordinary riders on here (not you, you didn't say this) that they would do better in the tests than the professionals tested.

I feel, and statistics will bear me out if I go dig them up. Again. That ABS is useful and a life saver. That is all I wanted to say.

Bob, thanks for your note.

And, thanks for the safe travels wish.

The math works out fine. Sorry it didn't work out for you.

I would never say abs would not be safer than non-abs. I am blessed in that
I get to practice on a course with the ASO deputies. Yes, they have
switched to ABS bikes, but it's because they are "now available" not that
what they had before was unsafe.

I am certain that substantive statistical data would show ABS is safer.

I practice stops, slow speed maneuvers, evasive maneuvers. I am lucky
enough to get to do this up in Alachua with ASO and their motorcycle crew.
I go watch on the days I can't ride the course with them. Depends on the
commander on duty.

It's the same with the car tire controversy you know. Obviously the car
tire isn't "safer" but is it "safe enough". The lattter I believe to be
true.

Bob:

Anyone can take a caulclator and divide 100,000 by 365. Congratulations on
coming up with the right figure, down the the 100's decimal.

Unfortunately what you are not taking into account are a couple of things.
One, I said "almost 100,000" thus any calculation you make is substantially
flawed from it's inception, as you do not know the correct number to divide.

Secondly, you didn't bother to *think* that there might be other miles put
on besides a daily commute, which is probably more than anyone else here
does.

But, again, thanks for your safe ride wish, and I return that to you
wholeheartedly.

Peace!

Joe
