Glad you are OK
Glad it was your REAR TIRE - I had a front tire blowout on a scooter (not Reflex) - and it is WAY SCARY because you can't steer well - it gets all squirrely as the tire flops around and shifts side to side...

Thanks, yes, I can only imagine what a front will feel like, perhaps I will
never experience it.
I guess with riding comes the odds, it's all in the numbers.
Take care,
Joe

Please remember the "tire poll" in the POLLS section - where you can CHECK for others experiences with various brand tires.
Please also REMEMBER TO ENTER YOU OWN EXPERIENCES THERE - so that others can benefit from it.
Thanks,
Bruce

Hi. Yeh, i put one on the rear of my old scoot(2001 mod) last year. It wasnt a bad tyre i thought but because i smashed that bike up, i didnt get the chance to see the tyre throughou its lifespan. I then purchased a brand new Forza after the old one was scrapped and now i am looking at a new rear one for it. Incredably, the factory fitted Bridgestone hoop has only lasted me 9000 kms (5600 miles). I couldnt believe how low the tread depth was on the Hoop when i stuck my head under the bike for a quick look the other day. Here in Aus, a new Hoop will cost $175 fitted. A little too expensive i thought compared to $100 for the Pilot Sport. I cold even go cheaper with the Pirelli GTS 24 at around $90 fitted. I will rule out the Hoop and decide between the two cheaper tyres
