The plastic muffler cover on my '05 Reflex broke around the mounting screws holes, so I replaced it with a piece of 6061 aluminum about 1/16" thick, rolled to the appropriate curve. I prefer the brushed aluminum look to the shiny chrome of the original cover.

It could be the end of June or even later before the rock fall is removed and the mountain stabilized enough to open the road to traffic.

Area locals are worried to say the least.

It was a big disappointment for the 3rd Annual Slayride, but there was plenty of other good riding.

Any of you who may have planned a trip to the area, check your plans again. Even though there's plenty of other good riding, those of you who have already been there before know, there's only one Tail of the Dragon.
